Project: Creation of staff canteen facilities on a two-tier mezzanine floor within a shipyard environment whilst retaining ground floor manufacturing capability.

Elements: A multi-tier ( 2 floor levels) structural steel mezzanine floor with access stairs and disabled persons lift. Works included provision of fire protection to the underside and construction of protected escape routes. Removal of 10m x 10m shutter door with glazed infill.

Building Envelope: Portal frame steel clad building operating as a boatshed for construction of high value motor yachts.
