Statement of Safety Policy
- Space Industries Ltd strive to take all reasonable measures to
ensure the safety, health and welfare at work of all employees in fulfilment
of its moral, legal and economic responsibilities. This policy will
also apply to others who may be affected by the Company's work or activities.
- All employees of the Company have a legal duty not only to work
in a safe manner, but also to co-operate in ensuring that the working
conditions and practices are safe. Any unsafe equipment or dangerous
situations must be reported without delay. It is the responsibility
of every employee to comply, where applicable, with the Safety Policy
requirements of Client Companies or Authorities, etc.
- The documentation details the lines of responsibility and accountability
for health and safety from place of work to the Managing Director,
and includes responsibilities applicable to individual staff.
- Actions to be taken to avoid or to deal with the specific hazards
and instructions on compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc.
Act, other applicable legislation, including subordinate Orders, Regulations,
Codes of Practice, HSE Guidance Notes or other accepted good practice
applicable to our Company or to any other activity with which the Company
is involved, will continue to be issued from time to time for inclusion
in the files of Safety Instructions. Where required, instructions and
training will be given to employees on how to recognise and guard against
foreseeable hazards and how to meet the responsibilities placed on
them.
- This Company has a good Health and Safety record and the co-operation
of every employee is requested and necessary in order that standards
may be maintained and improved upon.
- The Company will continue to monitor its health and safety performance
and in reviewing its procedures will seek feedback from all employees
in respect of hazards and risks in the workplace.
- This Statement of Safety Policy will be regularly reviewed, its
operation monitored and it will be revised as and when required.
