Bournemouth Commercial Interior Contractors Celebrate Rapid Growth

SPACE Industries Limited (SIL),
based in Moordown, Bournemouth, are celebrating three years of continued
expansion across the South.
The company, which specialises in commercial
interior fit outs, was founded by Richard Wheeler in 1991, and for the
past three years, has seen turnover soar to over £1million.
SIL, whose directors, Richard Wheeler
and Kevin Andrews, have over 44 years of commercial interior design
and project management between them, say they're becoming a major resource
for companies wanting to upgrade existing premises, or devise new ones
to be adaptable to business growth.
Mr Wheeler said: "For the past three
years we have seen turnover hit £1million, thanks to projects
ranging from Boatshed conversions to high-tech Clean Room environments
and call centres across the Dorset and Hampshire region.
“Office design and fitting out
of high-tech laboratories, have increasingly become core business”.
"We believe the reason for our continued
rapid growth has been our hands-on management of projects from concept
through to installation, our 'in-house' design skills, and detailed
compliance knowledge, which we bring in at the very early stages to
help incorporate efficiencies into a compliant and workable solution.
"We have also been able to arrange
finance for clients. This has been particularly important as Banks do
not normally fund project costs such as interior design and restructure,
and yet it is a business necessity."
SIL's Blue Chip clients include Sunseeker,
Ciba Vision and Flight Refuelling.
The company also manages high-quality
residential refurbishment, including exclusive properties in Belgravia,
London, Salisbury and Lymington.
