ASSUMPTIONS

Access - we have assumed a clear and level ( +/- 10mm ) site at the start of installation (typically 2m clear either side of partition lines), with free access adjacent to, and at the same level as, the partitioning location via a roller shutter door ( or similar) with minimum 3.5m x 3.5m opening, allowing unloading and handling with a single 1.5 tonne counterbalanced fork lift truck. Installation is assumed at ground floor level only.

Cleared Site - we assume a cleared area 2m to either side of proposed partition lines plus an area approximately 6m x 6m adjacent build area for storage, handling & cutting of materials.

Power & Lighting - we have assumed that a 240V power supply will be available locally for small power tools to be used via a 110v transformer and that permanent or temporary lighting in the working are will be provided by others.

Welfare Facilities - we assume free use of welfare facilities - including first aid.

All rates applied to this calculator are offered in good faith. However Space Industries Ltd reserve the right to confirm amended rates prior to accepting order if market rates or clarified scheme/site circumstances fall outside of assumed parameters
All prices are subject to the addition of VAT.

Payment terms being 25% with order, 50% prior to delivery of materials to site and balance due 5 days from effective completion.

Solid Elevation

Non glazed to full height to include 100mm laminate skirting both sides.

Centre Glazed Elevation

Solid panel from floor up to approx 1220mm then single glazed in 6.4mm laminate glass to door head height @ 1981mm high then solid to full height to include 100mm laminate skirting both sides.

Glazed to Door Height Elevation

Single glazed in 6.4mm laminate glass from above skirting height (100mmm) up to door height @ 1981mm high then solid above to full height to include 100mm laminate skirting both sides.

Vinyl Graphics: Building Regulations (Part 'N') requires manifestation of a particular size & at particular heights on glass to preclude people walking into glass. This quotation includes the provision of computer generated vinyl graphics, which can incorporate your company logo or various artwork styles.

Posts, Junctions & Abutments

At every 90° turn, or junction where one partition strikes another or where partition starts/ends on an existing wall – a post detail is required.

Doors

Standard door modules provide a hollow core veneered door @ 1981mm (h) x 838mm (w) fitted with standard lever latch nylon architectural ironmongery fitted – see option to add glazed vision panel at typical 550mmx550mm.

Site Survey & Layout Drawings

Option for our surveyor to visit site, draw up existing & proposed requirements & then present on a CAD drawing for approval prior to ordering. This option is strongly recommended to avoid misinterpretations of requirements & is useful as a 'Base Drawing' onto which other equipment & services can be added. This may also help in supporting a Building Regulations Application where required.
